The CAPERS fell to the University of New Brunswick Reds in AUS women's basketball action tonight at the Sullivan Fieldhouse.
The CAPERS were at pace with the Reds in the first quarter but had trouble sinking their shots. The second quarter saw the Reds begin to pull away with the teams heading to the locker room with a score of 45-29 in favour of UNB.
The second half kept the same tune with the CAPERS struggling with their offence and the defence of the UNB Reds. The game finished with a score of 75-50.
The player of the game for the UNB Reds was Kylee Speedy and the Subways of CBRM Player of the Game for the CBU CAPERS was Emily MacNeil.
The CAPERS will face the Reds tomorrow, Saturday, November 1 at 2pm followed by the men's game at 4:00 pm.
