The CAPERS had a great weekend, earning their second victory over the Seahawks today in AUS men's soccer action in St. John's, Newfoundland. This puts the team's winning streak at 5. The CAPERS scored early in the first half to take the lead. Jamie Nicholson, put one past the Seahawks keeper off a corner kick by Max Piepgrass. The score remained 1-0 at the half. Nicholson scored again just 3 minutes into the second half to bring the CAPERS up 2-0. Rookie keeper, Luka Palajsa, faced 6 shots, making 5 saves. A corner kick in extra time led to a Seahawks goal just before the whistle to end the game. The CAPERS record is 5-1-1, the same as the 3 teams above them in the AUS standings. The battle for first place is separated only by goals for and against.
