Bio
Coach Scott joined the CBU Men’s Soccer Program in 2014 as an Assistant Coach when Coach Deano took over the program and became Associate Head Coach in 2022. During his time with the Capers, they have been in the Atlantic Championship Final 10 of 11 years year capturing 6 consecutive AUS titles and 4 consecutive National Medals including National gold in 2017 and again at home in 2023.
Prior to joining CBU Coach Scott was a successful Tier 1 Youth and High School Head Coach winning numerous Regional and Provincial Banners and medals. As a Head Coach he guided the 2006 Cape Breton U18 Selects to the first Tier 1 Provincial boys title won by a Cape Breton boys’ team.
Coach Scott, a native Cape Bretoner, is a father to two adult children, Jocelyn and Brandon. Coach Scott is a professional Social Worker and is currently the Provincial Coordinator of Child Protection for the Department of Opportunities and Social Development.
