CAPERS start the second half of the season on the road
The CAPERS Basketball programs will start the second half of the AUS season on the road with back to back games against the University of New Brunswick on Friday, January 9 and Saturday, January 10.
Heading into the second half, the men's program sits in 3rd place - 2 points behind StFX and 4 points behind first place Acadia. Tafarian Black is second in the conference for field goal percentage while Liai Tong leads the AUS in blocks.
The women's program is looking to climb up in the standings during the second half of this rebuild year. Working hard to get the program on an upward trend are Amanda Cruickshank, who is leading the conference in points per game, Alicia Bowering, who is leading the AUS in 3 point shot percentage and rookie Monifa Beyde, who is leading the conference in blocks.
You can catch the first 2 games of the season on AUStv.ca.
Our next home game will be on Saturday, January 17 with the women playing at 6pm and the men playing at 8pm.
You can get your tickets on-line here or in person at the Kehoe Forum Box Office.
See you at the games!
