MSOC: Schaale's big night earns CAPERS victory.

Score: Cape Breton CAPERS 6, Saint Mary's HUSKIES 0

Sydney, NS – Defender Peter Schaale (Bernkastel-Kues, DE) scored a hat-trick as the CAPERS went on to beat the SMU Huskies 6-0 on a miserable weather night.  Marcus Campanile (Edinburgh, UK) scored a brace and Mitchell Wong (Bowmanville, ON) rounded out the scoring for CBU. Ben Jackson (Bury, UK) earned the clean sheet and SMU's Jensen Brown made a pair of saves in a losing effort.

 

Turning Point: After a scoreless 1sthalf, the CAPERS scored early and often throughout the second half.

Individual Leaders 

* CBU's Schaale led with 3 goals 

* Schaale and Campanile each had 3 shots on goal 

* The Huskies Brown led all keepers with a pair of saves

* Schaale was awarded Subway Player of the Game for his efforts
