Men's Rugby

CBU Men’s Rugby has enjoyed a successful campaign since it began in 1995. Boasting 3 Provincial and Maritime Championships, the men’s team has been a notable force in the Nova Scotia University B Division. Most recently, the CBU Men’s Rugby team won the Provincial Championship, defeating SMU in the final, and the Maritime Championship, defeating UNB in that final. The rugby season runs from early September until early November (complete schedule and results can be found at www.rugbyns.ns.ca). The team welcomes new players, both experienced or not, and practices Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 6pm until 8pm (from August until the end of the season) at the Amelia St. field in Sydney’s north end. Home games are held at the Hub Field in Glace Bay.
